Formal Portrait
We provide average-size tuxes and drapes for your session, so there is no need to rent a tux. Boys should wear a white undershirt/t-shirt under the dress shirt provided at the studio. Girls should come in a strapless bra or be able to pull straps off the shoulders. If you plan to wear pearls, please remember to bring them.

Formal Plus Session
Your casual photos will be taken against a sleek, solid gray studio background, which means you are the star of the show.

• Bring the Pops of Color: Since the background is neutral gray, rich and vibrant colors look amazing. Try to skip flat gray or plain white so you don't blend into the background.
• Layer Your Look: Layers add instant style and depth to a photo. Throw a denim jacket, leather jacket, flannel, or an unbuttoned over shirt over a simple tee. 
• Keep it Simple: Leave shirts with giant graphic logos, loud text, or neon colors at home. We want the focus on your face, not a brand name!
• Accessorize & Rock the Hats: Accessories are the perfect way to show your personal style. Bring along your favorite sunglasses, a cool brimmed hat,  necklace or scarf.
• Bring Props that Tell Your Story: Do you play an instrument? Sport jersey? Skateboard? Are you a bookworm, an artist, or a gamer? Bring your props! Whether it's a guitar, your varsity jacket, or a camera of your own, let’s showcase what you love.

Images will be available on our website for viewing May 28th - June 3rd. If you need to view them after that date, we will be happy to repost them for a $35 charge. We do encourage you to place your order before June 3rd. If you purchase and let us know which formal image you would like before November 3rd, we will ship it to the school at no charge.

Orders will be taken to your school for pickup in approximately 4 weeks. Digital file(s) will be emailed to you.

During your session, please ensure that no one else is taking photographs other than Jennifer Collins. All images by jCollins Photography are copyrighted; please do not copy them or remove the logo from images shared on social media. jCollins Photography reserves the right to use images and/or reproductions for display, social media, publication, or other purposes. Negatives, previews, and all digital files remain the property of this studio. jCollins Photography, the Collins family, and property owners are free from any liability that may occur while subjects are on the property and/or during any photography-related business with jCollins on or off property.
